The body tub is formed and this is where I get to be a sheet metal bender!
Woodwork and Aluminium
The body tub was cut out of three sheet of 8x4 marine ply by first
sticking the plans directly onto the board and cutting with a jig-saw.

This was for the Husky - same principle.
When the panels are cut, they can be glued and screwed.
I have always done this job on the chassis after it is 'rolling' to give
a better idea of 'what goes where' so that any adjustments may be
made if necessary.

Cladding in aluminium makes a lot of difference, but is risky when working
single-handed ( literally ) and using contact adhesive.

Half-round capping finishes the panel.
Here the doors are ' offered up '.

The sides of the dummy tank were clad next prior to concealing the actual tank and getting
the 'edge' treatment.
